LifeNest Sleeping System

LIFENEST MATTRESS DESCRIPTION:

PERMANENTLY ATTACHED TO THE SLATS OF THE COT WITH USE OF COTTON STRAPS,  WHICH PREVENT THE MATTRESS FROM RELOCATING WHEN USED. The standard LIFENEST sleeping system set includes a white sheet. You may purchase an additional sheet in white, blue, pink, green or yellow.

How does it work?

• It helps prevent S.I.D.S. (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome),
• It ensures comfortable position on the curved net surface, contributing to prevention of the flat head syndrome. The net adjusts itself to the body, which helps to preserve the natural shape of the child’s head (by increasing the contact surface area, and thus reducing the stress),
• It reduces the risk of suffocation, allowing free breathing through the net when the child turns on his/her tummy by accident,
• It provides the child with a delicate support, ensuring a comfortable position and, hence, reducing the risk of reflux,
• It enables free flow of liquids and mucus through the LifeNest™ net, preventing the child from choking,
• It speeds up the venting of exhaled carbon dioxide out through the net and air ducts within the mattress.

HYGIENE – comprehensive user protection – protectors are removable and washable at up to 60°C.

ERGONOMICS – It helps prevent flat head syndrome by increasing the contact surface area between the child’s head and the net. Moreover, as the child can freely move its head, the risk of flat head syndrome is greatly reduced. It also ensures a delicate support for the child’s body.

Intended for standard cots for children aged 0-5 months (up to 19.8 lbs/9 kg).
